Get a headstart in 2011 – Mallorca Training Camp

The racing season that was 2010 is drawing into its twilight which means it is time to squeeze in those last few long rides and podium placings before the dreaded winter tights are dug out from wherever you nonchalantly discarded them when the sun arrived in the spring.

Thoughts are already starting to turn to what can be achieved in 2011 and the shouldda, wouldda, couldda’s from the season gone by now turns to opportunities to make amends for 2011.

With this in mind, RuTrainingToday.co.uk is offering the opportunity to get a headstart on the competition for the 2011 racing season. Unfortunately,unlike the pros we cannot send you on an all expenses paid junket to the Tour Down Under in January, however, we do have the next best thing. RUTT is running an exclusive training camp on the Spanish island of Majorca, the homeland of the professional peloton for the second half of the European winter.  While most UK racers will be spending as long drying their kit as they do training on their bikes in the month of February,those on the RUTT training camp will be tackling long climbs, epic rides and many a coffee in the Spanish sunshine.

The experienced staff will offer tailored training rides to their guests which will take in the fantastic scenery and challenging terrain which the area is famous for. Fantastic scenery, great accommodation, training rides good enough for the pros and some solid banter are all guaranteed.  Accommodation will be on the basis of 2 sharing and the total cost for accommodation, the guided training camp and transfers to and from the airport is £290 for Half Board. Smack some easy jet flights (not supplied) on top of that and you have yourself both a holiday and a headstart on the 2011 racing season which will keep you motivated through those wet winter training slogs.
