On the 3rd October Team Tor 2000 promotes its final race of 2010, a 25 mile 2 up TTT. The course, U21/25, starts Axbridge and heads out to Bridgwater and back, so is fairly flat. On a day best described as ‘changeable’ and on a distinctly lumpy course, Marcin Bialoblocki took a win for the Wilier/Big Maggys/Prendas team, breaking away with a team mate and Ross Adams of Red Kite and pulling out well over three minutes over the rest of the bunch. This was one of the Wessex League’s two National B events, open to Elite level riders and catering for those elite and first cat riders that fancied something in between...

In a fast paced late season affair Pete Johnstone really was the strongest rider of the day firstly by going on an early break with Greg Sandy Somerset RC for the entire race before winning the bunch sprint to take the title.
